Island escape
komiža|VIS
8-10 April

It is time to breath, stretch, explore and relax. Come and unwind at charming old fisherman village of Komiža on Vis island.

CONCEPT
After two years of organizing outdoor yoga classes around Split I am excited about the opportunity to travel with like minded people out of the town. The idea is to escape and hide at one of the farthest inhabited places off the Croatian mainland - peaceful and charming village of Komiza on Vis Island, ideal place for yoga practice, walks and wee reset.
I plan more such trips throughout the year and to kick off and warm up, I would like to keep the first trip casual and offer it at the price of accommodation & food cost with optional contribution for yoga classes and event organization - all collected contributions will be donated to help people affected by the conflict in Ukraine.
My goal is, besides having a great time with you and support a good cause, to receive feedback and photos to help me with similar events in the future.
I will take care of a healthy vegetarian meal plan and shopping too. I will need your help with the meals and so cooking and dishes shall be a collective effort.
DESTINATION

The captivating Island of Vis has maintained its serene identity. It served as the headquarters for Yugoslavian military and naval forces during World War II and was not open to the public until 1989.
It is known for beautiful beaches, hidden coves, a fascinating history, and a rich cultural heritage.

Komiza is an enchanting port and oldest fishermen’s village in the entire Adriatic. It reminds of a fairy tale place facing a seemingly endless open blue sea.
